The postcard shows the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), a convention center located at the reclaimed area now known as the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex in Pasay City. The PICC was designed by Leandro V. Locsin, a Filipino National Artist in Architecture. The PICC formally opened on September 5, 1976 and became Asia's first international convention center.

The PICC has five building modules, the Delegation Building, Secretariat Building, Plenary Hall, Reception Hall and The PICC Forum, and has more than 60,000 square meters of floor area.
