Ostfriesland (East Frisia) Map Postcard

Ostfriesland Map Postcard

I found this postcard in an antique shop. Immediately on would recognize that the map is that of Germany. The postcard shows names of places in East Frisia with places of interests, from beaches to architecture.

East Frisia or Eastern Friesland (German Ostfriesland) is a coastal region in the northwest of the German federal state of Lower Saxony. Ostfriesland consists of the districts of Aurich, Leer, Wittmund as well as of the city of Emden. The historical district of Norden is today part of the district of Aurich.
There is a chain of islands in front of the coast, called the East Frisian Islands (Ostfriesische Inseln). These islands are (from west to east) Borkum, Juist, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog and Wangerooge.
